Councilmember Agran Quoted in Voice of OC

Today, the Voice of OC published an article called “OC Businesses and Public Agencies Left in the Dark As Power Authority Rolls Out.” Councilmember Agran was quoted because, as a clean-energy advocate, he is concerned about the Orange County Power Authority’s operations.

In the article, he says:

“This agency is performing in a totally unresponsive, irresponsible way, and that’s got to stop.”

The Orange County Power Authority will launch commercial service on April 1, and with Irvine businesses involved, Councilmember Agran has requested information from this agency on the number of accounts it will serve, copies of contingency and reserved plans, and more.
