In response to significant constituent correspondence, the Office of Vice Mayor Agran hosted an informational briefing on the Proposed Utility Tax. The session provided an opportunity for residents to become informed on the matter and hear from industry experts and environmental coalition members. The panelists provided invaluable insight and answered thoughtful questions from concerned Irvine residents.

Irvine Historical Museum

Did you know? The Irvine Historical Museum is the oldest building in Irvine!

Over the weekend, the community gathered there for an afternoon of history. Together, they learned about the “house” and the first family to live in it – the French family. The current building was constructed in 1877 as a cooking wing and bunkhouse adjoined with the Irvine Ranch Headquarters House. James Irvine lived in San Francisco, so the house became a home for his ranch manager, Charles French, and his family.

Vice Mayor Agran encourages you to visit the Irvine Historical Museum at 5 San Joaquin, Irvine, and dive into our City's rich history!
